About the Speakers
Carolyn Dalen
Carolyn Dalen is a professional project manager with more than 20 years of experience managing complex, enterprise-level IT projects. She has worked extensively across Agile, Waterfall and hybrid methodologies, supporting major Seattle-area health care organizations, including Providence, Swedish, Evergreen, Virginia Mason and Philips North America.
Carolyn holds PMP, PMI-ACP, and Certified ScrumMaster credentials and has recently completed advanced specializations in generative AI and AI prompt engineering. She holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership and a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems from Chapman University.
Michael Mage
Michael Mage is an internal process improvement consultant at MultiCare Health System, where he coaches leaders, facilitates A3 problem solving, and deploys Lean management systems across healthcare operations. He brings eight years of process improvement experience and more than a decade of teaching experience in higher education, local government and health care settings. Michael is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a master’s degree in education from Seattle University.
Nicole Nisbet
Nicole Nisbet leads the Washington State Department of Transportation’s Continuous Improvement Program, overseeing Lean Six Sigma capability development and coaching leaders and teams on large-scale, people-centered change. With nearly 20 years of experience in process improvement, facilitation, and change leadership, she holds certifications as a PROSCI Change Manager, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, ATD Master Trainer and Four Lenses Facilitator.
