About This Course

This course will explore the investigator’s role in the civil court system. You’ll learn about civil, domestic (divorce), probate and other types of cases heard in municipal, district and superior courts. We’ll explore in detail important concepts such as venue, jurisdiction and evidence. Other topics include open-source information sources, interviewing and surveillance techniques, and deposition and courtroom testimony.
