About this Course


Investigators must be cognizant of the laws that protect individual rights and that restrict access to and use of different types of information. This course provides an overview of the court system, including criminal justice, civil cases and issues of jurisdiction. We’ll delve into specific aspects of the Bill of Rights that relate to the courts, including search and seizure, self-incrimination, jury trials and the right to counsel.
